Iran to inject $1b into agriculture sector

TEHRAN, July 22 (MNA) – Iran plans to offer low-interest loans to the tune of 8,911 billion rials (some $1b) to the agriculture sector, the director of the Investments and Entrepreneurship Promotion Bureau at the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad said here on Tuesday.

Mehr quoted Abbas Hajian as saying that the decision was made in line with the ninth government’s supportive policies towards the development of the agriculture sector as well as its subdivisions
